Chez Bonser Patisserie (CBP) officially opened in August 2013; however, it’s founders, Erica Clark & LeRoy Bonser, have been cooking and entertaining for close friends and family for years. The origins of the name ‘Chez Bonser Pâtisserie’ is derived from affectionately referring to their house as ‘Chez Bonser’ when sending invitations to guests for various occasions. ‘Chez Bonser’ is where guests knew that they would be guaranteed delicious, generously portioned food.
During the holiday season, Erica & LeRoy shipped & delivered cookie tray assortments to various acquaintances. They warmly referred to their quaint kitchen as ‘Chez Bonser Patisserie’.
After years of receiving rave reviews and compliments from family & friends, Erica & LeRoy decided to share their love of food & baking with a larger community, and Chez Bonser Pâtisserie was born.
